TURKEY RUB

What Is Turkey Rub?

Turkey dry rub is a blend of dried herbs, spices, sugar, and salt applied on turkey.

Culinary Use

Thaw your turkey or turkey breasts at least two days before Thanksgiving, and then rub it evenly with the homemade turkey rub mixture the day before Thanksgiving. Leave your seasoned turkey uncovered in the refrigerator overnight. This will allow to draw out the moisture in the turkey meat and infuse it with the flavor of the spice rub before being reabsorbed by the turkey. You’ll get a delicious, flavorful roasted turkey with crisp skin!
